Dr. Giovanni Foti has a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Guelph, training specifically to work with children, teenagers, and families. He has been working in this field for about 15 years, and is a registered member, in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). He has provided psychological services for the Halton District School Board, Hamilton Health Sciences Centre, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and in private practices in Oakville, Milton, and Georgetown. Dr. Foti is currently the Clinical Manager, in the Youth Justice/Forensics program at Kinark Child and Family Services. Additionally, he conducts court ordered forensic assessments.

Dr. Foti provides services for children, youth, adults and families. He offers up-to- date knowledge of individual and family distress using empirically supported and effective interventions, in a supportive and caring manner. He also assists families by dealing with parenting challenges, attachment concerns, anxiety disorders, behavioural difficulties, and school and social difficulties.

Rana Cassar is currently completing her Master’s degree in Psychology at the Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto. Her training and experiences have helped her develop solid assessment and therapy skills. Rana is passionate about helping children, adolescents and adults reach their full potential. As a firm believer in the healing process of therapy, Rana brings honesty, compassion, warmth, positivity, and empathy to the therapeutic journey, while applying therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Rana has eight years of psychological assessment practice. She has extensive training in the administration, scoring and interpretation of psychometric tests, including psychovocational assessments. Rana is providing psychological services under the supervision of a registered psychologist.

I am a registered psychotherapist holding over 12 years of experience working with youth and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  I offer a creative and client-centered approach to counselling to help individuals develop and reach their own goals.

I have both training and experience in a variety of clinical approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and other Mindfulness-based approaches.  I apply a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens in all the work that I do.  I have supported individuals and families struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, relational conflicts, suicide, self-harm, and other mood related disorders.

My aim is to develop a meaningful relationship with you that will be the foundation to support exploring the challenging thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships you experience.  It is my hope and privilege to collaboratively pursue changes that will help you to lead the meaningful life you deserve
