Sarah Collette

Being honest and vulnerable with someone you’ve just met can be scary and overwhelming. I offer a safe and open experience where I am committed to understanding your goals and supporting you on your path to wellness and wholeness. My understanding of the importance of receiving support began with my own personal experiences caring for family members. These experiences highlighted the importance of listening, the value of empathy, and the need to be treated with dignity and respect. I will remind you that you are not broken, give you room to access your wisdom, support you in identifying how you feel, and planning your next steps.

I bring 17 years of experience with individuals and families facing mental health challenges, managing trauma, conflict in relationships, and difficulty in communication. Within sessions, I use tools from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem-Solving, and Trauma Focused-CBT.

Above all, you can expect a warm, empathetic environment and a tailored and supportive approach to meet your individual needs. The first step is the hardest. Once you reach out, you are not alone!
